🧃 NEW WINES 🧃 Happy to finally be letting all these new releases out into the world! The three brand new cuvées will be part of a new tier of Mélange wines called the Film Series (sounds a bit wanky, but I couldn’t think of a better name 🤷🏼‍♂️). Film photography has been a hobby of mine for a while now & I thought it would be cool to incorporate that into these new wines. The images for each label are film photos taken by yours truly, raw & unadulterated just like the wines. All wines will be available via the new website which will be going live tomorrow morning. Quantities are very small so get in quick! Link is in the bio. The wines will also be available at select retailers & a handful of wine bars/restaurants around NZ. Final pressing of vintage 2024 this week! Viognier from the Raupo Vineyard, 168 days/6 lunar months on skins. 95% of this was free-run, amazing how much the berries naturally break down over that period of time. This wine will be racked to neutral oak for élevage & tucked away in the winery, for at least 6 months, give or take🧃🤙🏼 Big thanks to Mum @jo_eaton for giving me a hand pressing & also for the photos 🫶🏼

Very excited to be part of the lineup for the first ever Umber Ground, organised by the wonderful humans @winesentience in Wellington! 🙌🏼 Umber Ground is an ode to orange wine & will give people the opportunity to try various expressions from all over Aotearoa & other parts of the world as well as a chance to talk to the winemakers themselves about their approach to making this incredibly unique style of wine. This Wednesday, in conjunction with the Top 50 Wines of 2024, @metromagnz & @thehotelbritomart have organised an amazing tasting of a selection of the wines featured in the Top 50 lineup being poured by winemakers, panel judges & the Metro team. We will be there pouring our featured wine in the lineup so grab yourself a ticket & come along to try some great wines & have a yarn with us!
